Beautiful old wooden Chalets are predominant in this part of Beatenberg. This original building was and remains one of the loveliest houses in the village. It is known as “Hansi’s House”. The east side was built in 1625 and the west side constructed in 1760. Historian Gottfried Buchmuuller

A blanket of fog shrouds the houses in the evenings. As it recedes the spectacular views can once again be seen. An interesting and natural phenomenon.
